IRON NEST Teleprinter and Radio Intelligence Guide
How orders, coordinates and target reports enter the turret workflow, and what information you should preserve.
The teleprinters relay High Command directives and frontline radio traffic that may be needed to build a firing solution. They do not merely decorate the turret: they deliver the coordinates, target descriptions and reference information you need downstream.
Read the complete order
Before moving to the map, identify the target and note any reference point, coordinates, bearing, distance, or special-ammunition request included in the message. A partial reading can produce a technically correct calculation for the wrong location.
Preserve earlier messages
Later phases can refer back to a spotter or coordinate received earlier. Keep the original teleprinter message and your map marks until the operation ends, especially during Fire & Light and counter-battery fire missions.
Convert words into map work
The message supplies intelligence; the tactical map converts it into range and bearing. Continue with the map and spotter guide instead of guessing directly from the text.
